The area north of Vysokyi Zamok beneath Knyazha Hill has long attracted Lviv residents with its ideal location. The “Pidzamche Gate” is always warmly open to all visitors. It is the main decoration of the place and a notable architectural landmark. The main attractions of the “Gate” are, of course, the funicular, the Lion Gate, and the plaza (central square).
