The area north of Vysokyi Zamok beneath Knyazha Hill has long attracted Lviv residents with its ideal location. It is the hallmark of all fortresses and answers the question: "Is this place quiet, cozy, and safe? Is it worth crossing this threshold?" When a guest enters this part of the residential complex, they immediately immerse in the world of the new old city center. The "Pidzamche Gate" is always warmly open to all visitors. It is the main decoration of the place and a notable architectural landmark. The gate’s main attractions include the funicular, Lion Gate, and the plaza (central square).
